Dear Parishioners,
By now, most of our parishioners are well aware of our capital campaign, Alive in Christ. We've shared important information, vital statistics, faithful witnesses, letters, announcements and much more. After last weekend, we have received commitments of support from 477 of our parishioners. Our goal is to have maximum participation of our parishioners.
I am very grateful to you for your continued support of our Parish and our extended Catholic community. Thank you all who have worked tirelessly on the Campaign. Your selfless gifts of time, talent and treasure are greatly appreciated. Thanks to all for your continued dedicated stewardship and for your zeal to further develop God's Kingdom in our midst.
I pray that each of us will answer God's call to Grow, Lead and Share our Catholic faith.
Sincerely in Christ,

From Our Bishop
During this Holy Advent season, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued prayers and for your generous gifts of time, talent and treasure. Your support is a testament to the faithfulness of God's people here in Central Florida and to the strength of our mission as a Church.
Tough economic times heighten the great needs in our community and draw upon us - as Catholics - to seek the greater glory of God with renewed fervor. Our needs have not changed. They are the same regardless of the state of our economy. OUr parishes are outgrowing their worship spaces and classrooms; our retreat center must be improved to provide greater spiritual light and now, more than ever, the people in our communities need the assistance provided by Catholic Charities.
What we have witnessed during this time of ambiguity is very inspiring. OUr parishioners are committed to making the dreams of our parishes and diocese a reality, and they have responded to Alive in Christ in a profoundly generous and loving manner.
The Lord has blessed our diocese with a bright future, and the years ahead will bring many new opportunities. Our Diocese Synod brought together over 1,000 Catholics who prayerfully considered the challenges before us and helped me develop a strategy to ensure our continued growth in the years to come. Through the Alive in Christ Campaign, we will meet the needs of God's people by building new parishes and schools, expanding our ministries and broadening our outreach t those in need.
